The following sites are those which supply recent news items. When you go to each site, you may need to tweak it to give you the news relevant to you. We give instructions on how to do this for each site if needed.

	Probably the best site for the most relevant news in the giftware industry.
The home page gives the latest news. You can click on the archives to see older news items.

The Indepedent Business News	news.independent.co.uk/business/news
	The newspaper The Independent has a business news section that you can search on.

Google News	www.google.co.uk
	After opening the Google website, click on News (near the top). Then choose the advanced news search and type in United Kingdom for country, and choose Giftware (or home accessories) as the news category. Of course, you can choose another country to find out what is happening in the giftware market around the world.

	The newspaper, The Times, has a business section that you can search on.

British Library KnowledgeBase	www.bl.uk/collections/business/gifti
	Not so much a up-to-date news service, more a repository of, perhaps, dusty items. It gives references to some statistics and internet sources.
