Trade Periodicals

All of the periodicals listed here are trade. They are targetted at resellers. If you want to promote yourself in general publications see 'The Media' page on this site.

You can promote yourself in periodicals in a number of ways: advertise, get editorial about your products/services, put an insert into the publication (brochure or flyer) or offer a free sample.

The most important thing to keep in mind, is whether the periodical will reach your intended audience and how many will it reach. To this end, most of the periodicals will supply you with these details, detailing a breakdown of the audience, whether the distribution is verified, advertising rates and mechanical specifications. Many will include your advert on a web version of their magazine or can include you in their listings - but don't forget to ask about this.

Don't forget that most trade exhibitions have a show catalogue which is targetted at their visitors who are largely resellers. Like a magazine it usually has advertising opportunities, and generally you don't need to be an exhibitor to advertise. Refer to our 'Exhibitions' section to find out about the shows.
